North Granbless Dam form Fisheries Foundation of CA

Completed in 2011, the North Granlees Dam fish passage improvement project reconstructed the existing North fish ladder. The South fish ladder was rebuilt in 2002. The project removes the last partial barrier on the Cosumnes River, providing access to 7.2 more miles of spawning habitat for adult fall-run Chinook salmon and steelhead. Partners include the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, NOAA Fisheries and Fishery Foundation of California. © Fisheries Foundation of California
